Heat Stabilizers

(DOP) Dioctyl Phthalate

Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP), also known as DEHP (Diethylhexyl Phthalate), is a widely used general-purpose plasticizer for PVC and other polymers, prized for its excellent softening efficiency, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness. As a low-volatility phthalate ester, DOP enhances flexibility, elongation, and durability in PVC products like cables, films, flooring, and synthetic leather, while providing balanced cold resistance and processability. Though its use is now restricted in sensitive applications (e.g., toys, food packaging) due to health concerns, DOP remains a benchmark plasticizer in industrial PVC formulations where regulatory compliance permits.

(DOTP) Dioctyl Terephthalate

Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is a high-performance, non-phthalate plasticizer widely used as a safer alternative to traditional phthalates like DOP. Offering excellent thermal stability, low volatility, and superior electrical insulation properties, DOTP is ideal for PVC applications such as wire and cable coatings, automotive interiors, and food-contact materials. Its non-toxic, REACH-compliant profile makes it suitable for sensitive applications where migration resistance and durability are critical, while maintaining flexibility, cold resistance, and processability comparable to conventional phthalates.
